Rangitoto Trip

Our trip to Rangitoto was a very awesome trip, as i was on the bus i was very excited to go on the ferry, and when we went on it we saw Rangitoto as we arrived. I was so proud as we walked because it was a very long walk but my heart was pumping as i was walking up the mountain. I couldn't wait to make it  up the top , i was tired but i managed myself to make it up the top of my mountain Rangitoto. At the top i saw a lot of left over things when Rangitoto erupted like left over rocks, trees, caves, native birds and a lot more. As we walked to the lava caves i was fearless because i was the first one to enter the very dark lava cave, the lava cave was the first things that we done until we continued on to our next experience, Which was the Mt Rangitoto crater. It was very big and deep there we a lot of trees. Then we headed of to our next destination which was a 1 min walk because it was right next to the crater so as we walked up there, all i saw was a bigger view of Auckland and the was also a big house but it was a place where the WW2 soldiers would contact to other people and how they would fire at the enemies as they arrived in their site, then as i looked down i saw a red stripe light house that looked pretty empty and we had lunch, as Mr Johnston talked about the house that was used by the WW2 soldiers and how they made contact with other soldier. Our trip was finished and we went on the bus and headed back to school.
